About Tanya Brooking

Tanya is a product of the 70s. Her California upbringing lacked adult supervision & she enjoyed the excesses of being an only grandchild. Currently, she’s querying her first novel, Lovely Rita, while writing her second novel, short fiction & the occasional fit of poetry. She still lives by the beach, where she sells houses & sticks her toes in the sand with great frequency.

Three Haiku

Today’s sum twenty
Eight thousand and two hundred
Forty-four ascents.

Sun sears fishbone sky
Cloudbursts pierce quicksilver hems
Earth inhales exhales.

White noise lie in state
Silent sky and interstate
Doves know no borders.
